KBS2’s most popular variety program 1 Night, 2 Days(1N2D) has managed to stay on top, despite the absence of head funnyman, Kang Ho Dong, thanks to the hard work of Lee Seung Gi, Uhm Tae Woong, Lee Su Geun, Eun Ji Won and Kim Jong Min.
According to AGB Nielsen Media Research on November 14, the November 13 broadcast of 1N2D received a viewership rating of 27.1 percent.
This record puts 1N2D in the lead for Sunday variety shows across the three main channels. The ratings were 10 percent higher than the next program in line, SBS’s Running Man (16.8 percent), proving that 1N2D, while a little different, is still a beloved program, nationwide.
In the day’s episode, the members started off on a ‘Korea′s Kimchi Road’, in which they explored the different kinds of kimchi across the nation. The efforts to introduce the traditional foods of Korea and the humorous actions of the members came together and successfully delivered taste and fun in one package. The five members were completely different people compared to how tense they were in the first episode without Kang Ho Dong, and made their audience laugh with their variety wit.
MBC’s On the Wind recorded 3.6 percent, I Am A Singer recorded 12.4 percent and SBS Diet Survival Victory recorded 4.7 percentin viewership ratings, while Qualifications of Men earned 12.2 percent.
