KDrama – Queen In Hyun’s Man

Title: Queen In Hyun’s Man
Genre: Romance
Episodes: 16
Broadcast network: tvN
Year: 2012

This time travel drama revolves around the love story between 2 lovers from different era.

Kim Bong Do (Ji Hyun Woo) is a noble-born scholar from Joseon Dynasty in the time of King Sukjong reign (1694). He is the only survivor after a conspiracy which killed all his family members. He is the suppporter for the reinstatement of Queen In Hyun of the Min Clan, who was deposed due to scheming by royal concubine Lady Jang and her supporters.

Choi Hee Jin (Yoo In Na) is a new actress in present year (2012) who is expecting a transformation in her career through her new role as Queen In Hyun in a TV drama.

Both of them meet due to a mysterious talisman given by a beautiful gisaeng named Yoon Wol to Kim Bong Do. Everytime Bong Doo on the verge of death, the talisman will take effect and send him to the present day Seoul. They falls in love but Bong Doo can’t stay in present day as he desire because he should be accountable to the people he has left behind. Hee Jin will continue to worry every time Bong Do go back to his past because she did not know when they will meet again.

I like this drama because it has unpredictable ending which made me looked forward for the next episode. The storyline is interesting with actions scenes, hot romance and fantasy.

I put myself in Hee Jin’s shoes and can feel her concern because every time Bong Do go back to his past, there is no guarantee he will come back and there is no way to contact him…owh poor girl.

This is the best acting from Ji Hyun Woo and Yoo In Na so far, compared to their previous dramas. The chemistry between them is awesome and they become a real couple in reality. Congratulation!
